Reeves Insurance Brokers is a licensed, independent short-term insurance brokerage based in Beacon Bay, East London. Founded in 1994 by Paul Reeves and Andrew Reeves, we have spent over three decades building a client base on referrals rather than advertising.
In 2021 we acquired Sutherland Insurance Brokers, expanding our capacity and panel relationships while maintaining the personal service our clients have come to expect.
As an independent broker we don’t work for any single insurer — we work for you. We compare cover across our full panel, recommend what genuinely fits your situation, and stand behind that recommendation when it’s time to claim.

Reeves founded
Paul and Andrew Reeves open Reeves Insurance Brokers in Beacon Bay, East London — built from day one on referrals and personal service.
2000s
Commercial lines added
Expanded to serve retail, hospitality and commercial clients across the Eastern Cape as the panel of underwriters grew.
2021
Sutherland acquisition
Acquired Sutherland Insurance Brokers, expanding our capacity, team and panel relationships while maintaining our personal service ethos.
